Bank of America stole money from my account

I spent over 2 hours on the phone trying to get my maintenance fee back due to an error on their part for not linking my loan to my account. Ask for supervisors but "they were not available". They use corporate policies to cheat and steal, and they always change to their benefit and never notify the consumer. They are the worst in customer service and should be under investigation by Feds. If enough people stand together, something will get done! Their policies and practices are not fair nor are they disclosed until you have an issue with them. I was disconnected twice and left on hold for almost 45 min.

Bank Of America in Phoenix, Arizona - Screwed BY B of A

For years I had direct deposit on my account. Bank of America advertised and told me that I would have free checking because I had direrct deposit. I went to them several times to get it taken care of and each time they said ir would. I was charged for checking for 10 years and never recieved a dime back or free checking. I was charged for an inssurance policy that I didn't want and I told them so. Even after several trips to the bank and calls they still charged me for the insurance policy. One year the IRS made a mistake and put a lean on my account. Even though I had made purchases prior to that with my debit card they called it insuficient funds and then chrged me 35.00 each for 5 debit transactions. Some of the transactions were less than 3.00. Even though the IRS returned the money Bank of America didn't. I closed my accounts. My wife wrote a check for $110.00 on a credit card payment. Bank of America says it was for $10.00 and said her payment was $100.00 short. Even though a copy of the check from Chase clearly shows $110.00. They are charging a late fee and want 2 months payment to bring it up to date. I have the information for them but they don't care. Frack Them.

Bank of America ***! They took $2,800 out of my checking account to pay for a $53.72 balance

I have been a customer of Bank of America for over 8 years. I had a $53.72 balance on my credit card. On line, on their website, I schedule a payment and indicated I wanted to pay the entire $53.72 balance on the card. They took $2,800. When I called them to tell them about the error, they indicated it would take me 7-10 business days to get my money back. That was 10 days ago. I just found out know that they actually didn't schedule the re-payment until a week after I initially told them about the error. 11 days later, I am still waiting for my money. I've spent hours on the phone and been given at least a dozen different stories. Most of the people I talked with said it was my error, and the SYSTEM WOULD NOT TAKE $2,800 out of my account unless I intiated it. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!!They are idiots!

Bank of America keeps raising the $$ of our closing costs.

We were approved for a Making Homes Affordable refinance from Bank of America. We are underwater in our current mortage. I am very suspicious of the way our refi has been handled. Our closing costs keep going up. I need some help in dealing with this bank. I feel like I have been getting the run around from the beginning. We already signed all of the papers and sent them in to the Title Company. I justy got a letter that states: "The following fees were revised as a result of these changes listed above: Title Services and Lender's Title Insurance [Closing/Escrow] From $300.00 To $505.00 [Title Services and Lender's Title Insurance] [Closing /Escrow] From $965.00 To $1,147.96 We were sent a new GFE with the above information.

Bank Of America in Mount Hope, West Virginia - Customer Service will not follow thru

I became a BOA customer in 2003 when we refinaced our mobile home. BOA did not follow thru and get our Title from the bank we were financed with. We tried recently to sell our home and could not b/c BOA did not have the title. I have been since Jan 2010 trying to get this resolved!! I have explained my story atleast 25 times b/c each time u call u get a different rep who says they will do what u ask and check back and they dont!! BOA doesn't even hold the lein!! You think they would want this resolved-!! I got a call last night about correspondece I had sent over two months ago and the rep told me they were a little behind on correspondence! GET REAL! That particular piece of info was already confirmed uploaded in thier systems atleast a month ago only b/c I pitched a fit and had it faxed in instead of waiting for the hard copies to get to someone (which was recieved yesterday) and the rep did not even check to verify it was already in their system. I have been cut off, swithced to departmenst that could not help, promised by reps to call back and check on my situation (Never did), AND even chared a fee for something I did not even request(I was able to get that applied to my loan after loud complaining)and STILL I am no closer to getting anything resolved!! THIS WAS NOT MY FAULT AND I AM HAVING TO PAY FOR IT!! I AM FURIOUS!!!

Bank of America Credit Card

I am getting married in October 2010. I have been preparing financially by moving debt around and paying off as I should. I have never been late on a payment and I have been a loyal Bank of America customer with two credit cards, a checking account and an auto loan with them. I recently was helping out my sister with her debt so I had taken it onto my initial Bank of America platinum credit card. To align my debt properly I moved her debt to a different credit card company with my parents and moved my debt to a new Bank of America Cash rewards card (second card). In the process of the balance transfers I had asked Lisa Bird (approximately a week before I post this) to swap the credit lines on my credit cards. Not only did she not swap the credit lines specifically stating that I had debt on the platinum Visa - which I had demonstrated to her that was in the process of being moved - but she called out for both of my credit lines to be lowered! I received the letters today April 21, 2010 of these actions; with no notice on the phone conversation with her. This was obviously infuriating and detrimental to my financial position, both long term (mortgage loan when married) and short term (wedding expenses). I was capped out because of Lisa Bird's failure to pay attention to details. Moreover, I was approved not even a month before for the Cash Rewards credit card for that limit, and now all of a sudden WITH LESS DEBT I had become liability???? Today I called Courtney from Phoenix Bank of America and she was very helpful even after my ill choice of words. She was able to help but not put me in the position I once was and more importantly, should be in. If anything, I should have an even higher credit limit for controlling my debt properly (and of course having a high credit score and being a good customer). As a side note, a separate online chat involving a salesperson Sara was chock full of misinformation about authorized users and credit scores. The same type of misinformation that could lead to very serious credit issues. I will not rest until I am back to par. Sincerely, Krenar Jusufi
