Bank Of America in Fresno, California - Attempt to get billing info from me!
email@example.com - This scam has asked twice for information from me to get into my banking. I do not bank online! They ask "to be reactived please update your billing information today by clicking - www.bankofamerica.com/account/re-activation/" To make this 100 words I will just fill in what ever, a little rediculous They add a "P.S. The link in this message will be expire within 24 Hours You have to update your payment information" I find this adding 100 words just a little ***!!!!! That last sentence reads exactly as I wrote it!!! Jerry C. Smith

Bank of America uncanny practices
I have a mortgage with Bank of America and made my January paymnet with an oversight of .02 cents. I recognized the error during my February payment and included the .02 cents. The bank did not informed me of the error nor did they return my check. They posted the payment to the principal and documented that I did not make the January payment. Subsequent payments were posted retroactive and it was not until today, June 27, 2010 after speaking with a representative that I was made aware of this. Because of .02 cents they charged me a late fee of $124.66.
CLOSE BANK OF AMERICA ACCOUNTS
There is one and only one way to fix the lying, swindling, cheating b****rds, close your accounts, take your money out and move it to a credit union. BOA is a thief and as long as we keep our money in their institution they will continue to screw us. Close your accounts and take your money out! Tell all your friends, relatives, and networks to remove their money, credit card accounts, and business accounts from BOA. To allow them to keep earning money on our money while they screw us is foolish. You may not be able to move your mortgage, but every other account that you can close, JUST DO IT!
Bank of America has been nothing but a head ache since I started with the paper side of my mortgage. I've gotten nothing but the runaround from the representatives and several managers. I would never recommended any one too bank of america. I have even reciced...
Bank of America - High Fees
Be careful when dealing witih a national bank like Bank of America because they charge lots of hidden fees, particularly overdraft charges. Their system of prioritizing charges doesn't correspond to the priority in which they were charged. They will post the largest amount first making many of your smaller amounts subject to an overdraft charge - even if that isn't the order in which you charged them - for exmample multiple charges using your debit card. They also charge a high fee if you don't cover that overdraft fee in a few days...this can cause you hundreds of dollars in fees in a very short time. Close your account. I closed my account and now have part of my paycheck deposited directly to a netspend card - no fees and often it is deposited earlier.
In summary, I was the victim of bank account fraud five years ago. I worked with Bank of America to credit back my account and open a new account. Five years later the bank abruptly closed my account based only on the fact that they closed an account in the past as a...
Bank of America cares for nothing but your money
Family hardships recently drove us to ask BofA about mortage programs available. Of course we could never get an answer after almost 8 months. Their service is the worst. They did respond indirectly however; by taking our open line of credit account and closing it telling us our house wasn't worth what we owed...Duh! Bear in mind we put down $100,000 for our home. Then they took our credit card and decided instead of 6.4% it should be 13.99% if we continued to use it. We stopped using the card. Please bear in mind we have been a good customer of theirs for many years and have NEVER made a late payment on any account. My goal is to pay off the credit card, and at some point refinance the mortgage (I suppose I could walk away from the house to screw them). I am now in the process of taking my retirement account out of Merrill Lynch (a subsidiary of BofA) with about 100k balnace and opening an acocunt with someone else. I don't understand how they get help from the government (TARP) and we get nothing in return. BofA is a bunch of crooks who belong in jail.
Bank of America
My mortgage company was recently sold out to Bank of America. They are not willing to honor the mortgage agreement I had with my previous mortgage company. I have contacted every lawyer in my area, and no one will help. I cannot get Bank of America to return my calls or letters. Who do I contact next? Don't tell me my congressman because I have done that too. I have also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in the state of California. Why does no one want to fight Bank of America when they are not doing what they should?
Bank of America privacy assist collects your money monthly but does not provide real time information only quarterly summary. after a few months I stopped getting the notifications on my account when I called I was told that the credit bureau updated the information...
