Bank of America is Consistent

It is obvious that I am not the only one that Bank of America is blessing with their kind hearts. As I have read and read and read today I have read numerous reports that describe almost word for word what these crooks are currently doing to me and my family. Bank of America took over my loan from a company in Central Florida in July. I made several attempts to make my payment but was advised that my loan payment could not be accepted due to transfer of servicers. Well, this was on the 10th of July which was five days prior to due date of the payment. I searched and made phone calls for three weeks trying to figure out who would now have the loan, no luck. Mid August rolls around and I finally found out. I found out by a Bank of America collection agent calling attempting to collect past due debt. Upon speaking to this person I was told that they could not accept payment. I asked how they were collecting a debt if they had no information for my account in their system. Silence on the phone then, Mr. ******* please call back in two weeks. Two weeks rolss around, September, I call and get a nice gentleman on the phone. He was somewhat nice. I made a payment and I asked the man about what I could do to satisfy the past due. I explained to him that due to having absolutely no knowledge of who had my loan I could not make the payment and now I'm two months behind. He told me not to worry about it that it could not be reported and that I have a grace period. I asked about deferral and he told me that he couldn't discuss that because although they could accept payment, all my information still was not in the system and nothing could be processed. I made another payment and then was concerned about being behindated with them on the phone in December. After the December conversation I got a late notice. January rolls around and an intent to accelerate comes in after I requsted a modification the first time. Everyone I speak to gives me different information. I honestly believe that these people are taught to give conflicting information. Anyway, when I received the packet it had a statement that read if foreclosure proceedings have begun they will not be suspended, if any payments are behind pay them, items will still be reported on credit during review process. Page two reads, all foreclosure proceedings will be postponed if lloan is at that stage which as far as I know we're not. Anyway, two documents in one packet that say two totally opposite things. On top of all that, I am UNABLE to make a payment because they will not accept payment during review process according to my account information online as well as the automated service on the phone. I can't even get through to talk to a human now. Absolutely rediculous! On top of all this, I got a letter from my Tax authoriy stating that the tax bill had been returned from B of A. In the statment form B of A they stated that they did not service my loan. So now on top of everything they have put me and my family through I have to worry about paying past due property taxes that are suppose to be covered in escrow. What do these people want? You try to pay them but you can't. From reading multiple complaints on several different sites it only seems that these crooks are very very consistent and that everyone seems to be having the same problems. It disappointing to know that no form of government wants to acknowledge this and so many families are being displaced because of it. I have read a lot atoday about class action suits but I have no information. If anyone knows or would like to get a suit going or has any wisdom to offer on how to get out of this mess and away from these people please please please let me know. Saying my prayers. From what I've read the loan modification process with these people is simply a waste of time.

Bank of America for Banking

The absolute worst bank ever,I made the biggest mistake opening an account online and they took 2 weeks to post my deposit, it had debited my former account in 2 days and didnt post until 2 weeks later on my Bank of America account. I do not recommend this bank at ALL!! I called the bank and asked them why they have not posted and they go is this money coming from an outside bank, I said its a local bank here in Chicago, they had the rudest bankers and tellers, you cannot get a straight answer from them!

Bank Of America in Sacramento, California - I need a new lock for my 52-yr. old cedar chest, please!

I need a new lock for my 52-yr. old cedar chest, please! It has moved from coast to coast with my as my husband served as a Command Pilot in the USAF, then as a Bank of America employee. It is now with us in retirement, in Sun City Roseville, CA. Send new lock to: Dorothy B. Ille 5416 Campcreek Loop Roseville, CA 95747-8011 Thank you very much! My chest holds my favorite sewing projects, winter fleece sheets, baby clothes from my five children, which I cannot bring myself to part with, a couple of lined, very pretty capes, worn by our last two children, girls. It sits at the bottom of our queen bed, and is topped by a thick, homemade Mexican blanket. Now our great-grandson, Jacob, sits there to watch cartoons, if our living room-great room flat screen is not available. As you can see, we cannot get rid of this old, but in great shape, member of our family. Please save it, by sending us a new lock. Mrs. DBI

Bank Of America in Santa Monica, California - Lost ATM card and blocked it, the statement shows that it was used

Menar Rateb wrote: Bank of America customer service deliberately blocked the issuing of a new ATM card, by using the same pretext more than once. They claim that they did not register the new address to all my activities and only in my profile 3 times. I am without an ATM card since December 22, 2009, and the bank keeps on claiming that they will send it as soon as possible. Meanwhile the bank authorized the use of ATM card that was initially blocked and the date of the last transaction confirmed. How was the card used beyond that date? Thank You Menar Rateb

Bank of America will not let us set employee child support up as pre-taxed deduction

Found out that BOA will not allow you to set up an employee's child support payment as a pre-tax deduction in their convenient online payroll services! What does this mean to the small business owner in Texas? With Federal UI @ .8%, State UI @ 2.7%, matching SS @ 6.2%, and matching Med @ 1.45%, for an employee that pays $400 a month in child support you have to pay an extra $535.20 dollars a year in taxes! NOW multiply that for every employee you have that pays child support! For some companies this could decide if you keep your doors open or have to close them!

Bank of America refused to even speak to me about options when I lost my job.

Until late fall 2009, I was always able to make my mortgage payment in the 13 years I owned my home. I lost my job in '09. When I found I was going to fall short of making a payment, I called BOA to ask if I could work out some kind of plan. They refused to talk to me about any options, despite my excellent payment history. My inability to pay the full amount of my Aug. payment started a rolling snowball effect. Now the house is in foreclosure. I tried repeatedly, but BOA has refused to work with me. I always get the same response to every call I make, which is "Pay up in full or we take the house." Yesterday they sent someone to my house. They ripping out a section of rails on my porch with what appears to have been something like a claw hammer, and they sprayed lines and dots with blue spray paint in several places. They have provided no explanation for this strange act of vandalism.

Bank of America's Incompetent Employees

I find it very difficult to write a letter about my service with Bank of America. But since there is no formal department where I can voice my complaint, I have to find a way to get this off my chest. In November of 2008 I applied for a mortgage with BAC to refinance my existing home. My credit rating was in the mid 700's and my wife's in the low 800's. It should really be a simple procedure to qualify for a loan. We had a first and second mortgage on the house. However, prior to applying for the refi, we paid off the second mortgage with money I used from my self-directed brokerage account. In order to qualify for a loan we had to provide two months of bank statements. On one of those statements was a large deposit from the brokerage account that I transferred over in order to payoff my second mortgage. This raised a red flag with the underwriter's and they needed me to provide the source of those funds. I was reluctant, but agreed. So I provided them with a statement of my brokerage account, however, I blacked-out the account numbers as I felt this was personal information and I didn't feel comfortable revealing it to them. They didn't like this. As if I was trying to hide something. After several weeks of going back and forth trying to resolve the issue, I finally backed out of the loan and went with Countrywide. That's right, Countrywide... the mortgage company BAC had just bought out. The process with Countrywide went smoothly and I closed on the refi three weeks later in January of '09. Although, I did lose $250 to BAC for their appraisal of my home. I knew in was coming, but, in June of 2009, I received a letter from Countrywide explaining how they are now Bank of America and how pleased they are to have me as a customer and are excited to service my mortgage. Awesome! But, the story doesn't end there... In January of 2010, I received a letter from BAC for my escrow account. The escrow account showed there was a deficit of $897 on my 2010 estimate for taxes & insurance. They instructed me to either pay the shortage in full by Feb 16 or have my monthly payment increase $185. What the *** I have a 30-yr, fixed rate mortgage. How the H*** can my mortgage go up $185? So the next day I called customer service to find out what the problem was. After being on hold for 20 min I finally got through to a "mortgage specialist" and tried to figure it out. She noticed that my homeowner's insurance increased for 2010 and that I should contact my agent to get a better rate. Well, I already knew my insurance was going up as I received an assessment from my agent in December. But my insurance only increased $147 for the year. So ***HOLE, where's the other $750 coming from? After spending 30 min on the phone, I realized this so-called "mortgage specialist" was not going to be helpful. I later contacted my insurance agent to find out if he could help. I faxed over a copy of the statement. On the statement were two charges in excess of $600. The agent thought these were for insurance, however, there was another charge for $938. We correctly identified this amount as my homeowner's insurance but still couldn't figure out the other two. So I had to get back on the phone with another BAC associate to help figure out what those two $600+ charges were for. When she looked at it in more detail, she said they were for flood insurance. Hey dumb***!!! We don't live in a flood zone. Why are you charging me for flood insurance? She looked into my information and saw that indeed we do not live in a flood zone and she would remove the charges. How *** *** are these people? They call themselves mortgage specialists? How can a competent person look at a 30-yr, fixed rate mortgage and see the monthly payment go up $185 and not think something is wrong? The senior leaders of this corporation all say "We need to become customer advocates." And "We want to be the most admired company in the world." How do I know all this...? BECAUSE I HAVE WORKED FOR THIS COMPANY FOR OVER 10 YEARS!!! I hear this *** everyday. That's why it's so difficult for me to write this letter. I don't believe in the message you preach when you hire incompetent employees who don't give a *** about the customer. All you've taught them is how to cross sell, up sell, backwards sell, or whatever the *** without regard to customer service. Want to become the most admired company in the world...? Teach your customer's about how to maximize their savings, how to plan for retirement. Teach them how to create wealth. Empower your associates to solve problems, not to err of the side of "it's bank policy" for fear of losing their job. Explain to them how important their job is to the success of this company and how important each and every customer is that either walks through the door, opens an account online, or calls for customer service. It's not our job to fight about who's right and who's wrong. It's our job to make the customer feel like their right. Every single time. Sadly, I will be refinancing my mortgage with at local credit union three miles down the street from the corporate center. It makes me sick! Shame on you BAC for putting me in this situation.
