Bank Of America in Meriden, Connecticut - B of A - No Communication

I Hate Bank of America. I am trying to have my home mortgage modified and have been at it with B of A, for over a year now. First, I was told there was nothing that they could do for me. Then, I was put onto a forebearance program, then I was supposedly put into a modification program. In the meantime, I have had to go to court and meet with a mediator to try to stop foreclosure! When we got to court, the lawyer for B of A, had no idea that B of A, was trying to work with us. The mediator continued the case for 3 months, which is now ending and I still have no permanent modification. Of course, when you call you get transferred to various departments and no one can give a correct answer. Each department tells you something different. I Hate Bank of America!! I was sent a FedEx package which supposedly contained my modification paperwork. I received this package the day before Thanksgiving at 12:30pm, at 4:00pm, FedEx came back and asked for the package back(because the sender, Bank of America, wanted it back). I sent the package back without reading or signing anything. I received a phone call a couple of weeks after this stating that I would be receiving a package from B of A. I have yet to receive it!!

Bank Of America in Dallas, Texas - Removed money from checking with no notice

My husband and I were separating. We had a Bank of America account. I opened a new account. I didn't remove my SSN from our joint account, but removed my name. They took out his overdrafts from my account. I didn't dispute their right to do this. I asked them why they didn't tell me they were going to do this, because several checks bounced. They said they didn't tell me because they didn't have to. The law didn't require it, so why should they. The rep and her manager both told me this. They were both rude and acted like I was studpid to ask for this consideration. I could not believe how rude they were.

Bank Of America in Groton, Massachusetts - Up a creek without a paddle.

If you have a loan with EMC or Bk of America you will be up a creek without a paddle. Your best bet is to short sale the property or request a deed in lieu of foreclosure. they are not attempting to help and you will stay on a phone line with them forever. How do I know this? I work as a housing counselor for a non profit agency. they have a emilinate default dept for if you are not behind on your loan that is suppose to help you and a retention dept that is for if your behind that is suppose to help you and a loss mitigation dept that is suppose to help you and they are worth a nickel worth of help to their customers. Their service is a joke. again how can i say this? I attempt to work with them 5 days a week and they such.

Bank of America turned into FIA with notice...while reviewing my statements, I noticed this

While reviewing my bank statements for 2009 for accounting/tax purposes, I noticed a new company automatically withdrawing money from my account monthly. I am pleased to say, all is right now that I know who they are due to this site Pissed Consumer I would have helped if my Bank of America statements used the name FIA Card Services. Since they did not, it remained a disquieting mystery until now. It would have helped if the last 4 digits of my credit card were used on my bank statement, but then, none of the credit cards do. When reviewing my bank statements to enter on QuickBooks, I have to look each one up and put a number to it. Surprised by FIA, and unable to find it on anything on any of my credit card statements, I turned to the web. Again, thank you Pissed Consumer.

Bank of America - Terrible

Bank of America does have terrible customer service. You are always getting the short end of the stick and banking with them will cost YOU money. Their processing of transactions and charges are completely profitable for them by posting larger dollar amounts first so that it is more likely the customer will be hit with overdraft fees (which are $35!). If your account is overdrawn for more than five days, you get hit with another $35 fee. Banking with Bank of America is costly and you're better off trusting your money with another institution--you just cannot trust them.

Bank of America won't help me buy a house.

I put in an offer on a house May 18th 2009 and the offer was accepted May 20th 2009. The house is a short sale which Bank of America holds the mortgage on. It is now Jan. 16th 2010 and my family is still waiting for Bank of America to approve this short sale. The seller, his agent, and his attorney along with my agent and myself have all called and emailed Bank of America countless times, only to end up back where we started. Bank of America won't help us!! If it wasn't for the President extending the tax credit program last year I would have lost out on the $8000 first time home buyer credit because of Bank of America's inability to help me. Our Government bails out this bank and comes up with a good program in order to put families into these homes, only to have Bank of America's representatives sit on their hands and do nothing to help us. Bank of America doesn't want to help the economy, they only want to help themselves. I'm a first time home buyer and this has been a terrible first time home buying experience for me and my family, thanks to Bank of America.
