Bank of America SCAM

Bank of America is basically keeping two books. The activity sheet that shows your "available balance" isn't accurate. You have to go to the balance history sheet to see "all charges". They keep a second column on this sheet that shows your balance including holds and authorizations which is a completely different amount than what you're told your available balance is. Holds & authorizations should show up on your activity page as pending charges. They are basically hiding charges on your account to trick you into over-drafting. They just took me for $140 on this scam alone. I am changing banks today. I've never heard of this practice before. I thought only the mob kept two books.

Bank Of America Commercials are lies!!

The Bank Of America commercials promotes their supposed wonderful customer service and policies, I DON"T THINK SO!! They called me and wanted a payment, I was less then thirty days late. They offered to waive the late fee, so I made the payment over the phone. They put me on hold while it processed, the rep gets back on the phone and states " OK your payment went through and just so you know I also charged you a $15 dollar phone payment processing fee" I told her I had I know that I could have just paid on line for free, I told her I wanted the fee reversed because she have OK to accept the pay by phone fee. She puts a "supervisor" on the phone and of course he gives the song and dance speech. "She is knew and I will be sure to talk her, this will never happen again, etc etc.

Bank of America Sucks!!!!

I started recently receiving royalties from oil wells in Oklahom and the company that pays me for it uses Bank of America. I didnt have a local bank here to cash the royalty checks so i went to Bank of America. Now mind u these checks are FROM Bank of America. I was made to pay a $6 fee for each check because i did not have an account there. Some of the checks were only $25.00 and I had to pay $6 for each one. What a load of ***. They dont even honor checks written on their own bank.

Bank Of America in Washington, District Of Columbia - Extortion?

In my mailbox today was a letter from BOA. It stated that I needed to call and make a payment of $247 today or pay them the entire balance of $12,990 by the 26th of June. I called customer service and asked them how I was to pay almost 13K to them by the end of the week if I couldn't pay then $247 today. What has this world come to? I am only one payment behind on this account and they are calling in the note. What recourse do we the consumer have? Who is protecting us from this sort of thing? Can I sue Bank of America? Sure, it will cost me about 13k, which I bet they would finance, at 27%.

Bank Of America in Warren, Michigan - Creeps added 2800. to my acc. cant tell me why?

I have a 2nd mortgage with these jerks (was Lasalle) after the take over they listed me as dead.. Took few months to clear that up , but now they say I owe 2800.00 in fees and interest that was not paid when Lasalle had the account. I have a detail report that shows every payment (never missed one) but they never have an answer why or where the amount comes from, nobody can figure it out and now they wont even call me back. They told me its just interest due. I have all the proof and they can see it because they sent it to me. Not a *** thing will they do.

Bank Of America in Clearwater, Florida - I should have listen to a friend

I should have listen to a friend that works for Bank of America. She told me that BoA does not value their customer and will do anything to add fees to my account. I found this to be true when I transferred .50 to my daughters BoA student account and was charged a nsf fee of $35.00 The so-called supervisor told me that the funds were not in my accounts at the time. Which any BoA account holders know: you can't transfer funds for one BoA account to another unless the funds are there. They told me that they do not adjust any fee unless it's bank error which we all know is untrue, because they have done it several time as a courtesy for friends that I know. Because of the fees they placed on my account (which they put on before any other withdrawls) They charged my $275.00 in fees for withdrawls from $.50 to $3.14. This is an outraged I closing my account and suggest everyone does the same.

Bank of america, criminals

bank of america is ripping off all of us and we know it, fees? huh. with the governments blessing so far at least, through donations made to political funds has many politicians paid for so don't look for any improvement soon. borrowers are still to easy to take advantage of by not letting consumers know about out of reason fees and charges. steering them to loans that charge an exorbitant interest rate. This type of theft is exactly what has caused the severe downturn in the economy,,, the straw that broke the camels back,,, first gas prices went sky high and took a huge *** out of everyday working class people taking enough that caused a great many to not be able to afford a payment that doubled overnight in most cases. These consumers had no trouble paying their mortgage before but after the doubling of payments due they could no longer afford them, this was caused mostly by countrywide and bank of america , in short they caused the problem and now we have bailed them out i still hope they go under. NO ONE should have anything to do with them! Quit paying them and lets see what the bought off politicains do then!

Bank Of America in Tampa, Florida - Rip off people!!!

RIP OFF over draft fee, twice on same charge, money was in there while was pending. They quit sending my alerts and cost me over draft. They are all rude and I think they are all afraid of their jobs so they won't help you. Who cares who's name is on the account first, and how do they know who they are talking to online, HELLO, one person tell's you one thing and the next person tell's you something else. BIG RIP OFF. You would think the money was coming out of their pocket, hey it is, they may have to give up something.
