Bank of America stole my money!!

Same thing happened to me after 42 days they closed my account with $65k in it and have been saying its under review every time I ask when will I get my money back call back in a week!! I cant believe Bank Of America can get away with this!!! They need to get a huge class action law suit!!! Im reporting them to anyone I can!!! Please remove your money go somewhere else these guys are thieves!!!!

Customer Service Experience

I was in Bank of America at the location of 4758 N Racine Ave, Chicago, IL 60640 on 08/19/2020 around 11:45 AM. I was making deposit of $30,000 with teller Autry Taylor (Victoria was helping her for the big deposit). As I entered the bank, I found customer service associate named Lee, I told her that I have big deposit and it would be better to have it at of the offices. Lee told me that everyone is busy and no one can accommodate me for such deposit. I waited in line, as my turn come up, I let Taylor knows that I have big deposit of $30,000. Teller Taylor got agitated and told me that I cannot yell at her and I have to fill deposit form and so on complains from her. Its as if she is the customer. As Taylor and Vitoria counted the money, I filled up the deposit slip. Teller Taylor asked me for my social security number, I mentioned that the saving account is already filled up in the deposit slip and I mentioned that I just withdraw that same $30,000 few months ago. Teller Taylor created lot of obstacles, had poor customer service and made the transaction more complicated. As Gold member, I dont think I should have bank with such customer service and with such experience. My previous bank used to accommodate me to an office for accounting the money and used to have very outstanding service. If to do the verification for big deposit, its Ok. But, I cannot tolerate such awful experience.

To be fair, you sound like an entitled -------. Thinking you're too important to have to fill out a large-deposit form; Expecting to be treated like you're something special by getting an office to do what everyone else does in the regular way.

Yelling at the tellers. Get over yourself. Expecting to be treated like a millionaire over $30,000 is a bit ridiculous. If your other bank was so great why did you leave?

Did you get kicked out for laundering $?

(Sounds like you are one in your complaint. Unless the $30,00 was a loan that you were paying back.)

Need to know about funds owed to me from the sale of real estate property.

My house was foreclosed on in 2012. It was sold for more than I owed. According to my ex wife there is money owed to me. I would have responded sooner but I was incarcerated for the last 8 years.

My Closed Bank of America Credit was compromised by Bank of America

ROBERT TOMITS, A BANK OF AMERICA SUPERVISOR, WAS THE WORST SUPERVISOR I'VE EVER HAD THE UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE OF ATTEMPTING TO COMMUNICATE WITH. ROBERT HAD NO COMPASSION FOR ME AS A LONG-TERM PAST BANK OF AMERICA CUSTOMER. ROBERT APPROVED HIS AND BANK OF AMERICA'S CRIMINAL ACTION OF ALLOWING TWO (2) $100 CHARGES ON MY CLOSED BANK OF AMERICA CREDIT CARD WITHOUT MY PERMISSION; AND ROBERT AND THE BANK OF AMERICA SHOULD BE PROSECUTED FOR THEIR CRIMINAL ACTIONS. MY CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT IS AND WAS AT ALL TIMES CLOSED AFTER I PAID OFF MY 0% INTEREST CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT. I was making additional principal payments on a loan I have. The first adder I made, I called and a person on the other end said he could make the adjustment and reverse the funds from interest to my principal. It never happened. The following month, I made another $1000 payment. Being paid up on my vehicle loan, I wanted this full amount to go to my principal. BOA took $200 for interest and applied $800 to my principal. When I called and talked to the girl in consumer affairs, she said the extra interest was a holding place just in case I didn't make my next payment. I've written and filed a complaint with the Federal Board and was supposed to get a response from the Fed Board and BOA. The response was someone will contact you in 15 days. They contacted me to tell me they would be in touch. Haven't heard a word since. Thiefs of America Is unethical in their practices and does business as no other institution I've ever had interactions with. Does anyone care about making and doing things right anymore?

Phone system won't allow me to make my mortgage payment

It's gotten worse now you can't get through because of high call volume. The only way for me to make my payment is to go the bank teller and hand her my payment.

What a fiasco! I'm considering obtaining a new mortgage from a more customer friendly bank.

I have been trying to make my mortgage payment for the past 2 weeks via phone and after going through all the prompts it says I can't complete my payment at this time. Are we back to the l age before computers, how in the 21st century can it take weeks to update your system? I believe you are mucking up this process in order to force your customers to use online banking.I won't do it! I will refinance my mortgage at another provider if you continue to force customers to your will.

My homeowners insurance escrow is overpaid due to switching Insurance companies. I paid the amount received from the old insurance company to Bank of America where I was told I could get my escrow reanalyze and my monthly mortgage payments lowered. The customer service representative took my refund from the old company and then proceeded to tell me I had to call the escrow department to request an escrow analysis. I am unable to get through to an escrow department that Ive been trying to reach for all week to no avail. Ive been on the phone waiting for over an hour and cant get through. The customer service reps who are answering the phones are never able to help me and Ive requested that my issue be escalated to management with the return phone call that I have not received. Very frustrated with The service offered by Bank of America.

Fee farming

Just got off the phone with BOA, and after discussing the fact that they have assessed fees 8/8 months so far this year but they dont see that as few farming. Theyve been bailed out with our money and still *** over the American taxpayer. Pull BOAs charter FED.

Credit card scam

I had a Bank of America card I used just enough to keep it active. 6/18 Bank of America changed the address on my account. I got a fraud letter on the card and called the number on the letter. I was told that I called the wrong number and was given a different number....

Credit Card Issues

I accidentally paid my CC Balance twice, I spoke to a rep on July 3rd. They said they would refund the over payment electronically in 7 to 10 business days. By 7/17 I still had not received my money back.I contacted them again that day. The said the rep I spoke to put down to send me a check and that would take 10 to 14 business days. I called back again and spoke to another rep who said they would trace the check and it would take another 7 to 10 days. After much discussion they agreed to refund to over payment the following Monday. I received it Tuesday. I must have spent almost 3 hours on the phone total to get this corrected. Because of my over payment my July statement showed a negative balance but still said I needed to make a minimum payment of $25. That didn't make sense, so I thought it was a mistake and didn't make a payment when it seemed I had a credit. Now I find out they charged me a late fee. I did call, and they took that away, but they never should have charged me in the first place. The rep said they refunded me the money on 7/29, so I had a balance but the statement came out on 7/7 which showed a credit. Makes no sense.
