Bank of America

I have been keeping you in the loop of my 55 month battle with nasty old Bank of America and how terrible, dishonest, and fraudulent these people are- you KNOW all that with thousands of complaints failed with the phone CFPB, over $100 Billion dollars in fines, penalties, and settlements in lawsuits. The National Mortgage settlement, all the bailouts, the USDOJ suit for nearly $17 Billion Dollars, and thousands of lawsuit B of A has lost, not to mention the ones they won with phony, fabricated, and forged documents like I have in my case on five loans originated by Countrywide. I did get Senator Corey Gardner to get involved is contacting FNMA the supposed owner of the original note and trust deed which we all know is untrue. They supposedly reviewed the one loan that is in foreclosure and granted the proper modification trial period at 2% like B of A should have done back in 2011 when I originally asked for help. Now that Sen. G shook things up B of A then sent a letter they were offering the modification but then no more help on the other 4 loans:( Colorado is the worst state for going against innocent property owners with Rule 120 that could be unconstitutional. Too bad great news people, some honest attorneys, title companies, state and federal consumer agencies, the USDOJ and others don't band together nationally to beat these totally dishonest big banksters who are truly too big to fail and with all the congress people, white house, and state and federal agencies all in apparent cahoots. Truly a real travesty and abuse of justice.

Leaving Bank of America Not Looking Back

I had an absolutely HORRIBLE experience getting my home loan from Bank of America. It was the WORST customer service EVER. I could write a novel about the agony but I will try to condense it to meet this format. Needless to say I am moving my banking elsewhere and I know they will sell my home loan probably before I make my first payment, so at least I will never have to deal with them again. We had a 60 day closing. That is twice as long as a “regular” 30 day closing. We did not close until yesterday, day 69, at 6:30 PM (even though the original time scheduled for the closing appointment was 3 PM – they even hardcore stumbled at the FINISH LINE) following the issuance of TWO closing extensions to our seller. Our loan officer was incompetent to say the least. During our 60 day closing, it came to light that he did close to NOTHING. I sent him numerous documents multiple times – via email and posting to the online mortgage portal – that following our closing date he claimed never to have received. Even though I have a thorough email record to document that some items were sent to him four and five times! Our case was escalated to a sales manager on Monday 5/9 (our original closing date) as our loan officer called us the Friday before – 5/6 – basically saying “there is no way the loan is going to close on time”, even though he had never given ANY indication that he was even behind up to that point. I called him literally every day that week (again, I have phone records) and he screened my calls, emails, and texts, failing to contact me in any way until approximately 2 PM that Friday afternoon. That weekend we went out of town for a graduation trip and it was basically ruined because we were frantically calling Bank of America trying to get a manager on our case. As mentioned, no one contacted us back until Monday. When the sales manager took our case it was revealed that we had never been charged for our appraisal, which I had obviously noticed, even though I provided my BANK OF AMERICA CREDIT CARD information to the loan officer TWICE. I can’t even mention all the things the sales manager had to do that should have been done weeks or months before. One that comes to mind is that they did not have our 2015 tax transcript from the IRS, even though 2013 and 2014 had been successfully obtained. Why didn’t they order them all at the same time, even though we signed the 4506-T for all of them? I don’t know. But I found out about it on Friday afternoon 5/13 and called the IRS myself, waiting on hold for 3 hours, obtaining it myself. The bank told me they had ordered it Friday morning and it takes “24 to 48 hours to get back” and no way was I waiting that long for them to do something they already had 60+ days to do. The stumbling block at the closing was that the bank’s closer hadn’t sent the final purchase documents to the title officer. I had to scramble communicating with both parties myself to help get it resolved. I did not have the amount needed for the cashier’s check until literally 4 PM (the time Bank of America closes) the day of my 3 PM closing. AFTER THAT it was revealed at the closing table that Bank of America made the closing documents for the wrong amount. They did not include a $3,000 seller credit that they were supposed to. As we were literally signing documents we had to wait again for Bank of America to resend them and give us our $3,000 back. If you are getting a home loan, go literally ANYWHERE ELSE. DO NOT USE BANK OF AMERICA. THEY ARE TERRIBLE. Buying a home is supposed to be at least a little bit enjoyable, and I am really just glad it is over.

10 minutes to get to a representative! | Bank Of America review from Necedah, Wisconsin

The sales pitches at the beginning of call to the credit card number listed on website did not ever get me to a representative...instead I was given a number to call T-Mobile. WTH! This advertising is enough to have me withdraw most of my funds, which is now in process. BoA has gone too far. One cannot spend 10-15 minutes just to ask a simple question. When I finally did get a representative, she was able to answer my question in less than one minute. People's time is important and if I wanted to spend 10 minutes with commercials, I will watch TV. Keep your advertising to the proper venue.

This bank is the worst I have ever dealt with. Today I went through Teller Assist drive thru to make a payment on my Bank of America Visa. The teller told me to punch my card number in which I did. Then she told me to put the money into the machine. No envelopes just the money.I tried and it wouldnt do it.The teller said to pull it back out and put it in again. So I put 1,380.00 in .Well now it spits back 5 dollars and keeps the rest.It is STUCK IN THE MACHINE! IT DIDNT REGISTET IT TO MY ACCOUNT.So I am given a number to call.I call .I am on holf for 20 min. Finally get to talk to someone but has no idea what to do.Transfers me to some new and they say wrong department.Transfer me again and hold for longer then 20 they answer and again they say wrong dept.I was on the phone for a good 2 hours and havent resolved the matter.I have to call tommorrow. So unprofessional. One young girl was laughing .This is not a funny situation.Bank of America uou need to hire people who know whatbthey are doing. Not these clowns.I pray I gett my money back. This is the 3 rd bad expetience in 2 months. So if you dont want a headache DO NOT BANK HERE.

Bank secret practices to keep your money. | Bank Of America review from Albany, Oregon

When money is transferred out of your account to an online business or intermediary, such as paypal, it happens immediately. However, the reverse isn't true and the bank online support doesn't know about it, or won't say. Pay pal transferred money to my B of A account for a sale I made on Ebay, after holding it a few days (Imagine the money they make on interest if they hold all transactions for a few days). I'm used to that, but once paypal transfers the money to my account B of A holds on to it for a half a day. Paypal stated that they transferred money directly to my bank account at 8:08AM. When it didn't arrive by noon I figured the transaction had gone awry. I contacted B of A to find out if there was a problem. I spent twenty minutes with the online chat. They finally figured out by looking at my account that electronic transfers from my account were instantaneous. They couldn't say about transfers to my account but didn't think that Paypal had sent money. They weren't sure, so they had me call customer support. When I called, the line played a music like substance for 30 seconds followed by a very loud announcement (quite clear with the phone at arms length) saying my call was very important to them, dah, dah, dah ...) and then the same electronic music. After a half hour I hung up. I then went down to the Bank. The teller repeated the same platitudes but after about five minutes of my insisting that I talk to a supervisor, I finally talked to a guy who said that this was a common problem and that as far as he could tell B of A processed "instant" transfers to accounts during the night, before 8 AM the next day. Notice that this seemed an unofficial observation. It would be nice to know that when I started. Maybe it looks bad that they hold customers money for a day so they try to hide it. It took me a few hours to find out.

Bank of America C.S.

Today, May 11, '16 I called C.S. to find out why my new checks had not arrived. An email from them stated it shipped on May 6th, 5 days ago! All I received from C.S. and a supv. was "it can take up to 10 business days." I repeatedly reminded them that it was in the USPS on May 6th and it doesn't take 6 days once the postal service has it! All I kept receiving was the standard "It can take up to 10 days." Over and over I reminded them the P.O doesn't take that long." I doubt that it was actually given to the P. O. on May 6th but when the order was released for mailing. I have found this to be the issue in other cos. as well. Overall, the P.O. does a good job of delivering mail in a timely fashion. I never dealt with so many "nitwits" in one call. Their C.S. falls into the national tragedy of continuing poor c.s. It is truly disgusting and an indictment of corporate America. James

The poster stated that the check company purportedly gave it to the P.O. on May 6th.

The P.O. doesn't take 6 days to deliver it as a practice. He is questioning if the check company's accuracy in that date as he has experienced other companies misstating actual times. My experience with using checks still remains a necessity for paying invoices for about 10 companies monthly.

As posted, we all use debit or credit cards when they accepted. Steelman

Who uses checks anymore? They told you 10 days, what part of that do you not understand?

Bank Of America Customer Care Review from Walnut Creek, California

House burnt down in 2015. BOA claims agreed to get Ins. Chk. expedited to pay builder. With chk. in hand and previous arrangements made I went in for BOA endorsement code. Inspite if copious notes agreeing BOA lied and would not endorse the check and my builder is off if the job. The claims department does not care whether they lie or not. The chk. Goes to the builder in order to make their investment ( mortgage) on the property whole. They are too *** to grasp that. BTW I am a senior citizen and the treatment is awful by BOA
