Bank Of America - Credit Balance Refund Debit

I put money on the card early to cover spending ahead of fees. But the remaining money of $255 was deducted for Credit Balance Refund Debit. I don't know what happened and how i can get my money back.

I’m a customer of 16 years in good standing and they are doing the same with me and pretty much anyone I talk with apologizes and says they can’t do anything. The check I deposited, which was from my own account at another bank, cleared that bank days ago.

My money is no longer in that account. It’s basically in limbo.

To add insult to injury, the funds initially showed up as available within 2 days after I made the deposit so I proceeded to pay a bill, THEN they turned around and placed the hold and returned the payment I made due to insufficient funds (my account was only a bit short even without the deposit). I’m switching to another bank as soon as I get this whole mess straightened out.

Bank of America closed my account with “no reason other than we don’t want your business anymore. You did nothing wrong, this happens everyday, it’s like we are breaking up, I have no other information for you other than that”. What? I don’t have access to mobile banking, my debit card or account with no reason at all and no intention of giving me a reason and that I need to wait until a letter is sent to me to follow up with anyone else. As far as my direct deposit and auto payments, “I suggest you contact them right away and figure something out”. Unbelievable!

Bank Of America - Beware of the fine print

I have a loan with Practice Solutions. From the start it was a horrible experience. Now I want to refinance and I am told that I will have to pay a 1% fee. I told them that I was over the five years (3/2014). They told me no that the date is from fully funding not the signing date. Be that as it may, the fee is based on THE ORIGINAL BALANCE! When I consulted with Chase they told me I was wrong until I showed them the agreement. They were shocked. So be ware of this bank. This is just the last straw in a series of incidents I have had. I cannot wait to get out of their hands.

Let me ask you a question, why do they have old information? When was the last time you answered one of their emails that asked you to confirm the information on your account was accurate?

When was the last time YOU updated your file? I'm guessing you probably didn't do it in 40 years. This is your fault if you haven't bothered to keep up with your business. The fact that you posted your phone# on a public message board shows how silly you are.

Unless this too silly to believe complaint is a ruse to get people to call that number for some reason.

What is it, a pay per call #? A scam sounds better than someone without enough sense to update their file.
