My husband made an accidental mistake online with a credit card payment, and instead of reinstating the money into our checking account to avoid our overdrafting our account, bank of America stalled causing us to bounce several checks, have High, penalties, and suffer embarrassment. Needless to say, two times B of A reps incorrectly processed our claims, delaying further the reimbursement. I urge you to close your B of A accounts and find a local bank you can trust to handle your finances.

GETTING THE RUN AROUND WITH SHORT SALE | Bank Of America review

I have been trying to do a short sale on my home for 2 years. The first year, I was told that because I am in Bankruptcy (Keep in mind my home is not in bankruptcy), that I would not be able to do a short sale. I then filed a complaint after a year of frustration. After the filing of the complaint, a rep for BOA called to help with the short sale. Everything was going great, appraisal was done, contract signed and all documents submitted. THEN..... The rep asked for a "Motion to Sale" from the court. Please keep in mind that when contract and appraisal was done, I asked him if we need to request a "Motion to Sale" from the attorney he told me no not at this time. A month went by and then he says we need a Motion to Sale. I contact my attorney and requested the "Motion to Sale". The attorney stated that they would have to contact all of my debtors first which would be 30 days and than request a court hearing. My attorney stated that this would take 45 to 60 days. When I informed the rep at BOA, he said that the short sale could not remain open that long and to contact BOA when we receive the "Motion to Sale". In the meantime I was not aware that he close my short sale. SO...... when my attorney went to court, a BOA rep was there and said that I did not have a short sale approved in the system Equator and we need to reschedule the hearing. This was a month ago. I have called several times to open the Short Sale process and I have been lied to about what they are doing, no one returns my phone calls when the reps asked me to leave a message, I have been placed on from one person to another, I have encountered reps who are not knowledgeable at all and I am fed up. I have a court hearing on 5/19/2015, which was request by BOA and the process has not even started or not even opened. I am trying to sell this home but I am to the point where I am I about to throw up my hands and let it foreclose. I am so pissed right now. REP/Case Manager have been David Tan and Kerry Curran- Which they both say neither of them can help me.

I went to your branch @ 78th State Ave.Kansas City,Kansas. I arrived in the drive thru @ 11:03 a.m. All three stalls were lined up with cars.Finally after waiting 50mins,I pulled up,and sent my request into the teller. Finally @ 12:09p.m.she finally returned my request,and I drove off,very,very upset!!!. I would of went into the bank,but like always that again is a 20-40min wait. Then of course if you go on the weekends,you HAVE to go inside the bank and wait,because they don't have drive thru!!!. People work all week long,they need efficient service,and not waiting inside of a bank for periods of time.Weekends are very important to those of us that work,there are errands to run,shopping to do,and other scheduled task with our lives,and our families. The service at your branch,that I stated above is beyond horrific!!!!. On a scale of 0 -10,,your off the scale of ---0!!!!. Just thinking of going to BOA,raises up my B/P,heart rate,and I get a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. You are the WORST,"BANK "in" America.

Diables Card for "unusal" activity (unusual=1 $40 ATM withdrawl) | Bank Of America review from Phoenix, Arizona

Been a customer for 20 years. Second time in 2 weeks BOA disabled my ATM for "security" purposes. They say there was "unusual activity" but the ONLY activity was my attempt to withdraw $40. The first time they disabled my card and I had to wait 5 days for a new one. Now, the new card, after 3 transactions over the week ... I went to get some extra cash for Sat night. The ATM flashes the "security" message and a phone number. My card is disabled. I have been on HOLD for 2 hours with their automated phone system!! This is just absolutely ridiculous. This has nothing to do with my safety and security anymore ... and more about their incompetent service. Wells Fargo here we come. our next mortgage and business account too.

I would just like to know why you even have phone numbers for your local branches, you can't get through to any of them no matter how many attempts are made or what time of day it is you just don't get through to anybody. I am in California I have tried several Sacramento branches and the one on Kettleman Lane in Lodi and it rings and rings and rings and then I get transferred to a central location who really cannot help or answer the question I have. your mobile app, when I ask for nearest location immediately tells me no locations within 50 miles. Well I know that to be wrong because I know of at least six that are within 20 miles and I'm sure there are more so WTF.

On Friday April 30th Geico withdraw $177.00 out of my account. My account was already low on funds. So now there was a $-177.00 dollars in my account, Bank of America usually waits a day before adding a withdrawal fee however since it was Friday, I am assuming they added the fee to avoid the weekend. So today I called BOA to see if I can get the fee waived, like I have done in the past. However, this time around they informed me that they do not waived that fee and they have never waived the fee. I know this is a lie because I have gotten fees waived in the past. I asked to speak to a supervisor who was a bit snarky so I asked to speak to another supervisor who was even worst. He's name was Mariano. He had no respect me or so it is not possible for him to have respect for any of the BOA customers. I told him he was a representation of the company and he said he does not care because he do not work in customer service. Moreover, he stated that I was subject to the terms of the contract, which is understandable. However, I been with BOA since i was 19 and I am now 26. I have never been notified of any changes or modifications and I did not sign-up for e-monthly statements so I should have received some type of mail from them. Not only did i get yelled at but I still have to pay the fee. After being complete pissed off, Marino (the supervisor) reminded me that another charge of $35.00 will be add on the May 7th. I so upset and completely disgusted with BOA. I am going it pay this balance and just bank with another company.

Think twice before you open open an account at Bank Of America. Their lines are always very long with no enough to tellers.

Maybe you're not ready to manage a bank account if you've overdrawn at least twice now. Your whole post reeks of everything you feel BofA did wrong without once taking note of what YOU did wrong.

You were overdrawn and you should have paid that fee with no questions asked. Nope! You called to have it removed. When the clerk refused to do that (forgive you for yet another one of your infractions), you demanded to waste the time of a supervisor.

He was probably referring to the contract you signed when you opened the account seven years ago. Do you still have it? I bet it's on their website, and I'm sure there's a clause about what happens when your account is overdrawn.

No one is going to hold your hand through every banking transaction, clearly outlining what needs to happen. You need to understand that your actions will sometimes have consequences that you can't get out of, and that's no one's fault by yours.

On April 02 2014 there were only 2 tellers out front to wait on customers. Location of bank was Columbia Dr. Decatur Ga.30032. I would like to know why there is only 2 tellers present especially around the beginning of the month. This is very poor customer service.

Bank of America is completely out of line.

I open a new business account with bank of america and two days later the bank closed my account with no give reason. How is it that they are allow to judge the consumer and deprive them from having a bank account. I did some calling and they told me they can close any account for no given reason. In todays day everyone needs a bank account why is it that they have the right to black list me not allowing me to open a bank account with another bank. I do not owe them anything this is a new business established in 03/2015 and that was my first bank account that I opened. So what am I supose to do? Close my business because I can not open a business account? Should I get myself a carbored box and live under a brigde homeless? Why is it that the government help this bank when the only thing they are doing is abusing of the consumers. Why is it if incorporate they can black list my person name? I think someone needs to investigate bank of america because there are to many people having problems with bank of america and nothing is being done. Everyone deserve a second chance and everyone needs a bank account in todays days. Someone needs to follow up on all 865 complaints and nothing has been resolved. Bank of america should be in america greed show. If there is an attorney reading these complaints please take the job and lets sue bank of america for abusing their authority and over charging in fees. There is a new crook in town that is Bank of America (Bank Rob us)

4/21/15 I went the branch of bank America 3819N Decatur ga 30032 to cash money order I stay the ligne 35 munites then teller refuse to cash my money order for no explaination I ask her let me speak the superviser and he told me we can not cash your money order because of your history of my account and they told me I can do deposit and I did the deposit and then I call customer service and get help from the manager finally I get my money but I will never return that branch in Decatur ga 30032 not customer service at all no name for the teller and the superviser I ask his name is David . Always it is crazy that branch it is 2 teller two women and one guy the superviser David no respect for my community if they don't do anything it I will move for another bank

If you don't have money in you account at the time to cash out your money order then they will not cash it.
