Teller fraud at Bank of America, 1500 buford hwy,GA

I withdrew cash at a teller station at Bank Of America on Buford Highway and ask for hundred dollar bills and that it be put in an envelope. I pulled the money out of the envelope partially and counted the bills before leaving the bank. Seven minutes later, I was at a SunTrust bank, where I filled a deposit slip for $3000.00 and handed the envelope to the teller. I commented that it was odd for one of the bills to be neatly folded considering the teller at Bank of America supposedly ran it through the machine. Well my curiosity was clarified when the SunTrust teller counted it in front of me and I was $100.00 short. I only had $2900.00. Since I counted the heads, and one bill was folded, thus I counted same bill twice. I went back to Bank of America and asked to see the Manager and explained what had transpired, armed with my deposit ticket I had filled from SunTrust and the $2900.00 in the exact form it was given to me. I was told by the Branch Manager I will get a call at close of business after the teller’s register has been balanced to determine if she is over by $100.00. I was not surprised when I got the call that the teller’s register was ok. My frustration was that I could not get this Manager to understand that there was intent to defraud before the money was put in the envelope, that it why one bill was neatly folded, thus a Thief, which she is will not leave the money in her register. This is the only bank of America I have been to that you need a ladder to see what goes on at the other side of a transaction. Please if my story can help just one person, my loss was worth it. Do not count your money in the envelope. On my part, I plan to sever ties with Bank of America; I do not feel protected, if their employees are not vetted.

Bank of America is retaliating against me for filing complaint!

I tried for 3 years to get a home loan modification when I became disabled and lost my job in Feb. 2010. My payments got further and further behind as BofA continued to ignore my requests for a HLM. When they finally decided to grant me a HLM, it was a loan recast which placed all the arrears, fees and extra charges on the principal of my loan. This made my payments INCREASE to an even more unaffordable amount. In Dec. 2010 the house burned down. (I should have walked away with the insurance money then!) BofA finally gave me the recast in July, 2012 so I used all my insurance money, which was suppose to go for replacing all my furniture, clothing, etc, to pay BofA during the trial period so that I would not lose my house. Then Keep Your Home California gave BofA $100,000 for the principle reduction program on my behalf for my loan. BofA took the money, told me they were going to modify my loan because the amount had been lowered to an amount I could afford. In the mean time, I filed a complaint against BofA with the OCC and the Federal Reserve Consumer Protection (FRCP). (Neither the OCC nor the FRCP can or will do anything against BofA. I think these agencies are either run by or bought out by the big banks!) Now BofA has Keep Your Home California's money and they are DENYING me my HLM and proceeding with foreclosure asap. They are retaliating against me because I filed those complaints. They acted like they were going to modify the loan, took the federal money and now they are going to kick me out and take my home. I am disabled. I have no where to go. I gave them all my insurance money and successfully completed the trial period! How can they do this? NOBODY helps the consumer. The agencies that I filed complaints with do nothing but forward my complaint to the bank and that's it.

Bank of America Modification - Stealing Escrow

After almost a year I did finally get approved for a home modification by Bank of America . However, you are then required to make a certain amount of payments before they recalculate your history and bring everything up to date. A certain amount of the monthly payment was to be for escrow (taxes & insurance). After the recalculation I was not given the correct amount in escrow. I have been calling and trying to get it straightened out, but get the run around. The monthly payment amount will be recalculated in Dec. and, because of BOA stealing my from my escrow account, my payment will go up again , thus defeating the modification in the first place. This is Stealing. Nothing else to call it. I was Set Up to Fail!!!!!!!!

Bank Of America in Salem, Oregon - I am a victem of ID theft-there is a forged signature card

There is a forged signature card in my name-1) there is a date on signature card, not a date the person who signed the card wrote in, but a typed date. it appears to be a date the bank entered, but the date was a sunday when the bank is not open-so why would card be dated this way? 20--2) signature card does not say branch where account was opened, but they say it is a california account number. and card says bank 318-does anyone know what bank 318 means? I am living a nightmere. Sorry for misspellings- I am shaken up big time.

Bank Of America in Toledo, Ohio - Constant run around.....

Before taking out a car loan, we verified there was no prepayment fee. Of course, after 1.5 yrs, contacted them for payoff and was informed $150 prepayment fee. After countless hrs on phone, determined I could pay all but $10 to avoid excessive interest. I did this, but unfortunately forgot to turn off autopay. Once the mistake was realized, we called and again after 45 min on the phone, they said they can reverse the last payment, and they provided a confirmation#. Two weeks later, we received a check, but it was the excess payment, MINUS the $150. Called again... 29 min later, repeating the same info, the gentlemen said, the request for reversal was denied, even though done within the time frame, by the "back office". What a waste of my time. They put people on the phone that can NOT answer any questions and just give you a run around. Also had a mortgage that "bought out" by them with the same runaround. Once another company bought the loan out, I immediately paid that off with no prepayment clauses.
