Bank Of America - Beware of the fine print

1.0
Details
I have a loan with Practice Solutions. From the start it was a horrible experience. Now I want to refinance and I am told that I will have to pay a 1% fee. I told them that I was over the five years (3/2014). They told me no that the date is from fully funding not the signing date. Be that as it may, the fee is based on THE ORIGINAL BALANCE! When I consulted with Chase they told me I was wrong until I showed them the agreement. They were shocked. So be ware of this bank. This is just the last straw in a series of incidents I have had. I cannot wait to get out of their hands.

Sorry to use logic here, but if you have two mortgages and both properties are being foreclosed, why not sell one of them?

Bank Of America in Pompano Beach, Florida - Modication loan

This is the fourth time I applied for a modification loan through BOA. Again they give me the run around and claim the investor which is fannie Mae has to make the decision. I own my home but I rent it out. I need a little help now since my morgage payments went up. After nine years and never been late on a payment, again I get the same answer because I dont live in this home. BOA sold my loan without letting me know which I found out they had no right to do this behind my bank. This bank is a rip off and they all should be shutted down

Bank Of America in Saint Paul, Minnesota - I had a loan remod with BOA and the loan was sold to Seterus

I want to know why Seterus received the loan when it was clearly BOA who was wtrong during the first loan and secondly completed my loan MOD. Now it's in the hands of Seterus and I don't know why? So does this protect BOA from all of the wrongdoing tey did with my first loan?

Bank Of America - Loan Mod Scam

1.0
Details
We wanted a loan mod from Bank Of America. After receiving the loan modification offer we have decided not to accept the loan modification. This whole process has been, in my opinion, a big scam and a disgrace to Bank of America. I was led to believe that a real solution, specifically a ten year interest rate reduction to 2% and a rate of 3% for the remainder of the loan was what I was working for. After 8 months of continuous uploading of documents, constant phone calls, etc, I was offered a 30 year loan at 5%, thereby costing me an additional $80,000+ over the life of the loan. I do not see how this is supposed to help me. In addition, without my authorization, an escrow account was opened for taxes and insurance. I already pay these items myself and at the time of the mortgage initiation we paid Bank Of America a fee to do so. An unauthorized tax payment of $2654.57 was made in December of last year. Because of this erroneous payment my mortgage payment has increased by $832.44 per month, from $1639.14 to $2471,58. This is beyond “a mistake”. This is fraud and I intend to treat it as such. I have multiple personal and business accounts with Bank of America, including more than one mortgage. After this I intend to take all of this business elsewhere as some as possible

I bought a condo and was given a home loan by countrywide. When the economy crashed in 2009 I, who was a finish carpenter, was one of the first to loose my job. We called Bank of America right away and we were told they couldn't help us unless we were already late on...

go online and become familiar with Consumer Financial Protection Agency which is the successor to the comptroller of the currency complaint process. file a complaint with the COTC which will be forwarded on to the CFPA.

that should help take care of the problem. good luck to you my deepest condolences for what you have gone through and continue to go through because of a horrible horrible Bank of America.

I am a class action attorney, please call me to discuss this issue. I represent people who are unabe to get loan modifications due to lenders losing documents, asking fro updated documents endlessly, and not completing loan reviews, increasing your default balance and penalties.

Denials are often incorrect based on bank errors.

Bank of America's Modifcation...Not

Started the process in 2009 and I sent in paperwork almost every week for 12 months. Mind you the same paperwork, 3 months of pay stubs and my husbands self employment pay spreadsheet, taxes for 2009, 2010, 2011. Then after sending payments and paperwork until May 2012; BOA filed for foreclosure while I was being sent documents from FED Ex that my modification was nearing completion with projected payment amounts and dates to pay. I finally had enough and filed for bankruptcy to stop BOA clowns from owning what was my life. They are idiots. Good luck to all who enter into BOA domain. Commercials are a joke. Cash back really...I really miss Countrywide...at least they were nice!@@@
