Lake Forest, CA branch, doesn't matter when you go in there is always a line because there is usually only one teller. 2 women behind the counter will not step up and help out. I spent half hour in line with 2 tellers because teller#1spent the whole time helping one person. Today when I asked for the women just standing behind the counter texting for her card. Told to sit down and wait. I said I would wait at counter on the side. She would not give me her card or name because I "threatened" her because I was not going to sit down. They do not care about customers. I closed all of my accounts 2 years ago but still have to go to BankAmerica for business. II I would not use them if I did not have too!!

Thanks a lot B of A for nothing. The wait time in line is getting out of hand. 2 tellers at the lunch hour-30 people in line. I waited 45 min. which took up all of my lunch hour. I guess the goal is to get rid of the customer. Get a clue, when people are complaining in line, the roving manager never comes over to find a solution. Wish i could just bury my money in the back yard. They keep telling us to use the ATM, I dont want to take large sums of money(RENT) out of the ATM. If my card is ever stolen there goes everything. Looks like i'm going to have to change banks even tho i've been a cutomer for over 20 years.

Bank Of America in San Francisco, California - BOFA customer service sucks!

I needed copies of statements from closed accounts. Accounts were closed about 4 months ago. I went to the branch. They told me to call customer service. Why not spend the 5 minutes to print the statements and have a satisfied customer? I guess that is far too simple and the correct thing to do. It took me 30 minutes to get an agent on the phone. I was told they would send the statements. They still have NOT arrived!! I I will NEVER do business with BOFA! Ironically, I had considered changing back to BOFA from another major bank who is now involved in scandal. That is not happening!

Had the unfortunate need to speak with BofA today. They sent me new credit cards stating my existing card "may have been part of a data compromise at a merchant where you do business." Well, if I need new cards then wouldn't it be nice to know WHICH MERCHANT may have been compromised (so I could be more careful with them in the future)? So instead of telling me this in the mailing with the new card I had to call them and ask. Customer Service couldn't help me because they don't have access to that info. [Transferred to "Fraud Dept".] The Fraud Dept, of course, has to "verify" me again but, since they're Fraud, they have to be even more attentive. 1) They ask a former address. I give a former address. Then they want a cross street near my former address. "Can't anyone with Google Maps tell you that? (with the info I just gave you)" I ask. How is that "security" or "verification"? 2) What is your tel# on record and who is the provider? they ask. After prompting I tell them the number and then tell them the provider IS NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS!! I'm assured they have "public records" that tell them this information so I reply that they should use their public records but that I won't participate in confirming or denying "public records". So, considering that their objective is to "verify" that I am who I claim to be, HOW IS IT MEANINGFUL TO USE INFORMATION TAKEN FROM PUBLIC RECORDS FOR THAT PURPOSE RATHER THAN USING INFORMATION THAT I HAVE GIVE THEM DIRECTLY?? I can state for a fact that several pieces of their so-called public record info are WRONG. This method of "verification" is nothing more than personal information trolling!! and is based on speculative information. I declined any further absurdities and ended with my case being escalated to the Executive Resolutions team. I have marginal expectations but will repeat these complaints there again. I urge anyone encountering similar nonsense to COMPLAIN LOUDLY and move your business elsewhere!!!

Today, May 11, '16 I called C.S. to find out why my new checks had not arrived. An email from them stated it shipped on May 6th, 5 days ago! All I received from C.S. and a supv. was "it can take up to 10 business days." I repeatedly reminded them that it was in the USPS on May 6th and it doesn't take 6 days once the postal service has it! All I kept receiving was the standard "It can take up to 10 days." Over and over I reminded them the P.O doesn't take that long." I doubt that it was actually given to the P. O. on May 6th but when the order was released for mailing. I have found this to be the issue in other cos. as well. Overall, the P.O. does a good job of delivering mail in a timely fashion. I never dealt with so many "nitwits" in one call. Their C.S. falls into the national tragedy of continuing poor c.s. It is truly disgusting and an indictment of corporate America. James

The poster stated that the check company purportedly gave it to the P.O. on May 6th.

The P.O. doesn't take 6 days to deliver it as a practice. He is questioning if the check company's accuracy in that date as he has experienced other companies misstating actual times. My experience with using checks still remains a necessity for paying invoices for about 10 companies monthly.

As posted, we all use debit or credit cards when they accepted. Steelman

House burnt down in 2015. BOA claims agreed to get Ins. Chk. expedited to pay builder. With chk. in hand and previous arrangements made I went in for BOA endorsement code. Inspite if copious notes agreeing BOA lied and would not endorse the check and my builder is off if the job. The claims department does not care whether they lie or not. The chk. Goes to the builder in order to make their investment ( mortgage) on the property whole. They are too *** to grasp that. BTW I am a senior citizen and the treatment is awful by BOA
