Bank of America doesn't care about customers
Bank of America canceled my credit card account number after I reported a merchant's mistaken double charge on their website. Even though I called customer service and explained there was no fraud and the card wasn't lost or stolen, they refused to reinstate the number and strung me along for months with the promise of "investigating" it.
During this time, I lost card rewards and spent a lot of time updating many auto-pays to a different card. The CFPB wouldn't help, so I filed a lawsuit, but Bank of America refused to take responsibility or settle for even a small amount of compensation. Their lawyer incredibly admitted, "the bank would rather pay us than you." Bank of America then lied saying I told them to cancel the card number because of fraud, which is false. The judge sided with the bank and its big law firm, refusing to let the case proceed.
So basically Bank of America can do whatever it wants to harm customers and there's no way to hold them accountable. Don't get a credit card or bank account or anything else from this crooked big business.

Bank Of America did any legal foreclosure on my parents house and then stepped in and sold it underneath our family after my fathers death good luck with to any of those who have a mortgage with Bank Of America.. Youre gonna need it I would watch your back.
check your account and I would definitely get an attorney. Ive heard others have had similar issues with this bank.
The government needs to step in and take control of how these banks are being run and how theyre making their money like I said good luck to those in the future that have a more mortgage with Bank Of America. I know I will never touch them for my future finances.

After my dad passed away, Bank of America conducted an illegal foreclosure and took all my family's money. I would not recommend this company to anyone, and if you have a mortgage with them, I wish you luck because you're going to need it.

Ordered check records show they were shipped early January but never received. The accounts I am referring to end in 2798
Unjustified fees mistake not corrected for years
Several years ago , they kelp charging me unjustified fees that made my card limited go over and they reported to the credit agencies 'over limited ' I've asked them to correct their mistake ...years gone by without any progress.
I closed the account and because you close an account, it's not favorable in the eyes of the credit agencies

This bank has no drive through service
Get drive through back and we have our business there one teller told we couldnt get cash back.
Otherwise its ok. Only two banks here

I have been trying to speak with an associate for 2 days!! I had a very bad experience with an associate at the Leesburg branch!!
She didn't know that BOA doesn't cash disability checks!! She ran my check through and on the back was the BOA stamp. She couldn't cash my check and she didn't sign it on the back and cross out the machine stamp, making it IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO CASH ANYWHERE!! NOW MY CREDIT CARD PAYMENT IS LATE!!
I NOW NEED AN EXTENSION UNTIL 12/7/24!! I CAN'T EVEN SPEAK WITH A LIVE ASSOCIATE!!
THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!! PLEASE CALL ME IMMEDIATELY.

My spouse passed away. I deposited the valid life insurance benefit I received.
Receipt said they had info that it may be returned and will hold it for 7 days.
This bank HAS NO SUCH INFORMATION because this check is good!!! Then, instead of saying no one is there at night, you will be on hold for hours waiting to talk to a CSR that isn't even there until you hang up.

Identity Theft!
AT&T had security breach. They put me on THE DARK WEB.
They were able to steal all my personal information. They are stealing my money and always Mention bank of America! They stole $1000 from my account and have account they use!Never use this Bank.

My husband and I signed up for a credit card on the Bank of America website for 60,000 miles if you spend $3,000. We spent $3,000 within 45 days, and they denied our points.
On May 23, 2024, we received a letter, and they said we were short $11.61 (because they added a $95 fee in there, and we were not aware that it didn't count) they denied our points. Then Susan S emailed us and told me that she sent us the promotion by mail. She lied. My husband and I opened the mail together and didn't have the promotion in there.
So we closed out ALL of our Bank of America credit cards due to their fraudulent activities and the lack of honesty and horrible customer service by calling us liars. They are the liars; we got another letter dated June 21, 2024. This time they said they refused our points because the account was closed, so the mile rewards were forfeited. They had a lawsuit against them last year for doing the same thing—refusing bonuses.
I don't want anyone else to be their next victims.
Horrible company! Don't trust them at all; they do not have your back like other credit card companies do!!!

ATM did not dispense cash. Bank waiting 15 days to credit me
I made an ATM $600 withdrawal on July 3, 7:30 AM. The machine gave me my card, debited my account, but did not dispense any cash.
I immediately called the number on machine, but they are not available until 9:00 AM
I called the 800 bank number but had to wait until 8:00 AM. Now 7 days later they say I need to wait until July 18 and they will temporarily credit me the $600 while they continue the investigation. WELL SEE??
Im out the $600 for now. Imagine I really needed my money for something important ??
It is 2024.
How long to check the ATM? Imagine I shorted a deposit.
I bet they would act immediately. I am very upset.

See my newer comment regarding BofA upholding an indisputably fraudulent charge from Accutru. Evidence galore submitted - in Accutru's own corporate hand - made no difference.
Same schtick: there is more money, lower costs, and higher profits for BofA when they side corporate by default. This is the long-established practice and policy of Brian T. Moynihan, CEO and chairman of the Board, BofA.
Nothing new; nothing likely to change - even with court oversight. CFPB yawns and chuckles.
They also have indicated they don't want to do business with Republicans. I hope every Republican withdraws all their money and banks elsewhere.
How would they know your party affiliation?
Oh the Irony. I assume that you're a Republican.
