Verified Reviewer New ReviewerPhone system won't allow me to make my mortgage payment
It's gotten worse now you can't get through because of high call volume. The only way for me to make my payment is to go the bank teller and hand her my payment.
What a fiasco! I'm considering obtaining a new mortgage from a more customer friendly bank.
User's recommendation: Use a smaller bank for your banking needs because BOFA doesn't care about individuals.t.
Horrible customer service
User's recommendation: Find another bank !!!

Dear Bank of America,I understand why you would like me to "Go Paperless." I really do. You would prefer to save on postage and since I like a paper trail for all my transactions, you would prefer that I use my own printer and paper to create hard copies.Well, I do not choose to Go Paperless, and I am annoyed by your repeated demands that I let you know what my preference is.And I do not care for your heavy-handed way in which I must convey my strong desire to NOT GO PAPERLESS.So, you can respect my choices, or you can continue to annoy me with your unwanted and unwelcome email demands to remind you that I DO NOT CHOOSE TO GO PAPERLESS.Time was, your Harbor City branch was convenient, and the only nearby bank around; that has changed in recent years with the opening of a Chase bank even closer.
So, stop annoying me, or I will change banks and you will lose the income stream that my keeping thousands of dollars in my checking account generates for you. Please consider this as PUTTING YOU ON NOTICE.
I AM FED UP WITH YOUR ANNOYING REQUESTS TO GO PAPERLESS. WHAT PART OF "NO" DON'T YOU PEOPLE UNDERSTAND?-Ted Rubenstein
- Convenient
- Unable to directly email anyone in authority of customer service
- Frequent and annoying go paperless email

Yep - their head of I.T. is lazy is what it means. They're all for making their OWN jobs easier while making the customer jump through a bunch of hoops just to make a payment, then when that causes an issue, they don't address it, don't help you, and frankly with the long wait times they make it seem like they don't want to hear from us at all....

"keep my business" As if your "business" means anything to them or anyone else.. This isn't the 80's when companies will jump through hoops to "keep your business.""
