Bank Of America in Las Vegas, Nevada - The most horrible banking company I have ever dealt with.
A year ago I changed my business there for needing to change the name. Recently I have had a lot of charge backs from my customers. Wondering why, I contacted Bank of America and they told me my old business name was still on there! After going to multiple banks to fix this( over a month time lapse here) they told me I should just close out my old account and reopen a new one. I did this and having it cause problems with the IRS and other issues the old business name still was one my new account! I have lost thousands of dollars from customers due to this problem! BOA gave me the charge backs and I sent them the proper documents to get this resolved. Hearing nothing back from them I called back to check on the status and they explained to me nothing could be done now. I had argued back and forth that this was not my fault and something needs to be done. Again no help. I asked them again what the name was stating on peoples bank statements, again was my old name still!!!!!Two weeks have passed going back and forth and still nothing has been resolved. Regarding the charge backs I was told by 3 different people they could be fixed then the last person I called said they could not. Also 3 representatives told me my company name would be changed within 24-48 hours and still nothing has been changed. My customers are still viewing there statements as my old company name and I have to go and explain this to them all so I do not receive more charge backs. This has made my company look really unprofessional and also skeptical to my customers. I finally called again and asked them what the status was on the name change the last rep that I spoke to apologized for the previous reps and said I needed a form to fill out and then my name would be changed! Why have I wasted all this time and energy and the information I had been given by not just 1 rep but by 3 that there was no document that I needed to fill out! Their unprofessional-ism and miscommunication has ruined my hole outlook on BOA. I have recently changed and gone with someone else smaller company but way more professional. BOA has wasted not only my time but my customers time and my money. Really angry with BOA and how they handle things ( which is not at all. ) I can not even fathom how they could not understand a simple task to change the name! 1 year has passed and still not solved and on top of it all instead of changing my name to my new company name they somehow merged my old name with my new name and messed it up even more! How can these people be so incompetent?

I receive a letter regarding home loans and when I try to apply this lady name nidia or somthing was sounding demanding and very rude. I have bank with BOA for a long time and I had never ever been treated un-professional until today. I am very disappointed to the point of taking my business elsewhere. If she would have had a different tone or and unjudging manner than probably she would had close the deal. I was willing to work with her just because she stands behind the name BOA. I dont expect people to kiss my ***. I just expect common courtesy thank you.

I was charged a $35.00 overdraft fee for a $4.99 debit. on the bank of america website it says no overdraft fee for anything $4.99 or under. They lie and as of the 3rd of the month when I get my SS check I will be closing my 16 year old account. When I called the 800 number she refused to waive the fee, when I went into the bank to talk to a manager he told me you were already told no from the 800 number. I am so done with this *** bank. new bank
Bank Of America in Las Vegas, Nevada - Raised price on house after signed a deal
We made an offer on the house at 12754 Fiddleaf in Boise on 4/28/11. The house was on a short sale listed for $105,000. We offered $100,000. The bank lowered the price to $102,000. We accepted the offer. We were told everything is ready and asked how are we paying for the house. We decided to go with the 3.99% home equity loan from US Bank. We told the funds on 8/19/11 and the house was scheduled close on 8/23/11. The closing date was posted four times because BOA keep saying some title issue with the county not clear yet. The last closing date was scheduled for 9/30/11. On 9/29/11, we were told that BOA raised the price to $108,000. We declined the offer, not because of the price, but that is just wrong. A multi-billion company back off on an offer accepted??? We paid $250.00 for home inspection. We paid 3.99% interest on $100,000 since 8/19/11. About $2000 out of pocket today, still counting, with no house, because of BOA's wrong doing. UB Bank charge $500.00 if we payoff within 3 years.
Bank of America Home Loan Modifcation
Bank of America purchased our mortgage and shortly afterwards told us there was not any money in or impounds to pay our property taxes for the 2010 tax year ($2,000 shortage). To become current we agreeded to a loan mod. During the loan mod they reported us as being late with our house payments. Finally in January 2011 we received our signed loan mod papers. All was fine untill March 2011, when BANK of AMERICA told us there is no money in our inpound account to pay our 2011 property taxes. They have no idea where this money went but were suppose to come up with this missing money to pay the taxes again. Looks like B of A is stealing our impound account funds. We never had any problem with the impound account untill Bank of America took over our mortgage. Has anyone else had this problem?
Bank of America - Fraud Detection
Bank of America claims to have a state of the art fraud detection, protection and notification system. However, it consistently failed to detect fraudulent debit charges via fictitious website billing addresses--on my account. All charges included international transaction fees. To top it off each month on the same day identical charges from two of these websites ( i.e. nonexistent website addresses and same recording on 1-888-#)would be submitted. Unfortunately, they slipped by me via phone banking. Once discovered, Bank of America's fraud division showed no interest in investigating the detection system's notification fault. I informed the rep that I would be willing to bet that thousands of the same website addresses have been submitted and billed over the course of the year to customers. Albeit, she thanked me for being a valued 20 year customer. Internet theft is, truly, a piece of cake. The bank makes money (debit fee/international fee), the fictitious website thief makes bigger money and the cardholder just wonders--what the... No recourse! I am mistaken, you can file a "claim" for two months worth of charges and get a new debit card. However, the bank can investigate if motivated and they can make long term charge backs based on fraudulent charges. This costs the bank time/money and the loss of the fees collected on your fraudulent transactions. Bank of America - lose one customer at a time. Might as well lay-off all your fraud staff and unplug your super computer. Enterprising class action attorneys may end up making big bucks some day. Is Bank of America hiding something.
