Both my husband and I are on the accounts. My husband lost his debit card and he called to stop it. Later on he called again to have a new one reissued and he was not able because "Customer Service" was asking for my personal information that he didn't have at that...

Quit banking with these mega banks, especially BOA and find yourself a smaller state charted bank that values you as a customer.

Bank Of America Checking Account Review

Details
Bank of America should be called "Bank of whatever State you opened the account in" and dont expect them to link. I went to the branch, made calls, and it has taken 4 weeks with NO response. In actuality, i have been trying to link the accounts for 9 YEARS but am so frustrated with the lack of response and follow through. Im out!

Bank Of America in Durham, North Carolina - Charged for incorrect information provided by the BOA staff.

Details
I just got charged $48 in my Saving Account for over limit transfer when the staff in BofA(HEAD QUARTER) informed me that I have unlimited free transfer between Saving and Checking account. He opened both saving and checking account for me so I asked the questions about transfer between 2 accounts. I called BofA and they were unable to waive the fee. They said sorry that the staff gave me the wrong info but the information of transfer limit was within the package they gave me. I chatted with BofA and looked at the answer. http://postimg.org/image/nrbl9crvp/ It was my fault not to read the package carefully and it was also my fault to trust BofA representative, esp at Head Quarter. I did not expected BofA staff to be that tricky on giving information. If i could turned back time then i would not have open account with BofA. Would advise others to consider other bank instead. This isn't the service minded bank that you would expected it to be.

I have boa and I transfer between my savings, checking and business accounts all the time and I have never ever been charged to do so. I have been charged in the regular checking and savings accounts if I do not have the amount that they clearly tell you to keep in each account which is between $5 and $12 fee on the months I don't have the balance that once again they did advice me of. Maybe everyone needs to read the information that was given to you upon opening the accounts.

Bank of America Stole all my business money $104,000.00

I have a check cashing business, all the paper work was current and in order. One day they close my account and after several call and different information they said it was risky to have the account, then they close the accouts took the money and told me they sent it to IRS, I contact the IRS, and they did not know what I was talking about and ask me to go to the back and get the number where Bank of America send the money. Bank of America refuse to give me any information and the last words is that they dont have any reason to keep my money but still dont give any real information where it is.

Bank Of America Checking Account

Bank Of America Is full of ***!

These people really have some nerve!!! I opened a checking and savings account with them and that same day I deposited 2 checks.. about 2 hrs. Later I was trying to use my debit card and they declined it, I called and they said my accounts had been placed on hold because of suspicious activity!!? The next day I went to deposit my paycheck because they told me my account should have been good by now.. WRONG! It was declined again... and this morning I called to see what's going on because I need my money.. I'm a single mother and can't afford to go through account holds. They said that they decided to close my account down because the checks I deposited didn't match with the persons signature.. trying to say I'm making fraudaulent checks or something! They said they were going to refund the checks to that person and give me back the balance within 10 to 15 days??! What the *** am I supposed to do for a week with no money?! And how is my employers typed check a fraud? They are SOO *** full of ***! They just lost some customers.. because I'm going to make sure I tell everybody how rude these people are! *** YOU BANK OF AMERICA!

Bank Of America in Greensboro, North Carolina - Bank of un-America

I opened a checking & savings account 2 weeks ago. Deposited over $5,000 to open the account of my money. I received 2 transfers of funds from a company I do work for that also happens to have BofA. Those went through just fine. On the 3rd transfer, they suspected it was fraudulent and put a -$888,888.88 negative balance on my account and all my checks started bouncing like a blond's *** on baywatch. (lol). So I call them and they tell me they suspected a fraudulent transfer?!? from a guy who logged into his account and entered specific pass phrases to get into his account and transferred the money. Meanwhile, he's done this 2 times before with HIGHER amounts with no problem. So now, Bank of unAmerica has stolen all my money and held it hostage until this other guy calls them and clears this up. I thought we have rights in the country. The right to bend over.

Do you really think a bank wants to cover a near million dollar loss? Banks are trying to cover they're ***, they don't care if you need the money right away, they need to make sure that it's the right person doing the right transactions.

You open an account for 3o days and you think it's gonna be okay to do large transactions like that and not look suspicous.

You may know you're innocent but if I were a bank and I see that amount of money moving around, you better believe I would do anything to cover my butt. God forbid if it were fradulent transactions, and you had just had that money taken from you, dont' you think you would wonder why the bank did nothing to try and stop it?
