I have been a Bank of America business customer for a few years. I have two business checking account.
1.
Bank of America's website is horrible. a. I changed my password FIVE times this evening, and each time I was told it was successful. However, I could not log in any of those successful changes.
Obviously, something is wrong at their end. b. I tried to send them a message from their Message Center. If there is a way to do that, it is well hidden.
2.
I called their support phone number. a. I initially asked for an associate. I was told that first I had to enter all sorts of data to verify my identify.
b. After I verified my identity, I was told that their office is closed. Why would a competent company not respond to my initial request to speak to an associate by telling me that the office is closed? What is achieved by identifying me only to tell me that no one is there to help.
What purpose does that serve other than wasting my time? c. Just in case the office closed while I was doing 2b, I tried again, and the same thing happened. B of A clearly doesn't care about wasting customers' time OR their phone menu was designed by an idiot.
So, it is Saturday evening, and apparently I will have to wait until
Monday to access my account.
Folks, it is 2023.
Technology can be very helpful. Unfortunately,
Bank of America has third world technology and their sense of
valuing their customers' time is a big fat zero.

It has been more than one month since I was last able to sign-in to my account after I deleted the cookies and cache. As part of 2FA, when I tried to sign in, I had to make a selection of I wanted to receive a text or a phone call with the authorization code.
I chose both ways at different times. I have never received anything from BOA. I am still waiting on the authorization code.
I called customer service for further assistance. Because I don't have my ID and the debit card expired on October 31, they couldn't assist me.
I explained that I am homeless, and my belongings are in a storage unit, and I think my ID is there, too. Since I have a past due balance of $2,066, the storage facility won't allow me access to the unit.
I am autistic and receive social security. My mom is on the account. Two (2) times that I can validate it, my mom's debit card was frozen.
The first time she was told that there was a charge of $12.95 by Walmart. This charge is for online purchases to place an order either for delivery or pickup. The second time she had to go to a branch. They told her that the phone number on record was not valid.
Someone did NOT update her information in the computer. Both times you waited until Friday in the afternoon to freeze it is beyond me.
The next time her debit card is frozen AND she is not notified, we will close the account and take our business elsewhere.
The email address on file is no longer in use. I tried to change the email address, but I would have to verify it by receiving an email to the old email address; therefore, I have not been able to make any changes.
Preferred solution: Easier access to my account by having other options other than the 2FA. Possibly security questions.

Hello my name is Yesica Padilla I was wondering if you guys send the letter to Solarity credit union here in Yakima Washington to let them know that I dont owe nothing there with you guys anymore more please to have prove that I dont owe nothing with you guys anymore at Bank Of America please, Ive called and the person I talk to said that they already send the letter but the bank where I apply for an account said they havent received anything yet and I called again and they said that they dont know. I received my retirement check from your bank of America.I paid to have it delivered in 1day received it in 2Days.Iwas told by ups driver to contact were the check from. I wanted to no why I paid so much for 2day delivery.Ok so I go to Walmart to cash it denied.asked why Walmart is on the check with bank of America.
There is no bank of America anywhere here closes in Seattle I am in butte.There is no cash checking place around here. I called Merrill to see what else I could do to cash it.I was informed by opening a bank account.Maybe one will. If I wanted a account here I would have one. The ch8 8eck is part of Walmart in butte.and boa.
I worked for it .If it was 5000.they could but with 400 more they can't.I was a faithful worker at Walmart and I don't have the time to wait for tax season.I don't feel as I should have to.I feel as though Walmart and boa, should honor and cash the check they wrote. When I call boa for The Bank They Don't Have Here. They should be able to answer and guide People to the right place instead of saying open a acc.Good luck to you.I received money I worked for and the bank not Walmart will cash it.Its mine and I want answers and my money.I got the check on 118 it's now18. Horrible credit card establishment. They took several days to post an electronic payment, then they said it was late and charged me a fee.
An electronic payment that has been set up for many years and I have never had issues with it. I always pay over my minimum payment. But when they added that late fee to the next months minimum which made my payment short, and then they charged another fee. It took them 3 months to notify me, and I was unaware since it was on auto-pay, and basically they said oh well it's your problem.
I will never do business with them again if they don't fix their scamming ways.
I have excellent credit and there are too many other banks out there to deal with poor customer service who hangs up on you. I know I'm only one person, but I hope it causes many others to think hard and take their business elsewhere to more deserving establishments.

First off I found the Bank of America customer service reps to be well trained professional and very genuine with a good attitudes
Well my issue is not yet resolved it will be by the end of the morning I just got a call back and start the whole process over and that's really what I'm frustrated with it's not the the people it's the system they have it's just it's just really hard to work with and in my situation I got on the line and she had me set up to go everything to do everything and she had me with the right person and then the call dropped and then and then I couldn't get back through and
I'm not exactly sure how I get back to where I was when the call dropped. I will figure that out.

I lost my card so I don't know my account number and to get to the point where I can talk to a representative it's just absolutely like pulling teeth I go round round but once I get to talk to somebody everything's fine I just am confused about what number to call , and I'm frustrated that it's so hard to get through to a representative
