Bank Of America review in Hopewell, Virginia: Cashiers Check

told in the bank yesterday when I deposited a Cashiers Check from another Bank - by 3 people two tellers and a Manager who were standing around talking - that funds would be available after midnight on my deposit. Well next day check my account on line - now says it will NOT be AVAILABLE until April 4th - - called - absolutely NO satisfaction - will be closing my account there - this is only about the 4th major issue there in the last 5 years -thank god there are Credit Unions around. There lack of training and lies are ridiculous and they could care less.

Guess you should have paid your mortage, at least that was an option for you - but I guess you had another solution, well hows that working out for you now, standing at the curb looking at the home you used to own that the bank took from you because you failed to make your payments on time (heck, you failed to make your payments period), well I guess we all have options in life and listening to you complain that it wasn’t your fault you didn’t make mortgage payments is sad, very very sad - own up to your actions that led to you losing your house Sincerely Yours Bank of America - Customer Service Team

Bank Of America review: Mathews Va., Worst service ever

I arrived at drive up at 8:55. Bank opens at 9. Car was already waiting in line 1, I went to line 2. At 9:05 I figured they were a little late. At 9:10 I called inside to remind them to open. They said there was a sign in line 1 to come inside, they were short handed and not opening drive up. I was in line 2 where there was no sign. The elderly lady in line 1 could not read the sign. (It wasn't very large) The elderly woman at line 1 could barely walk with her cane and had to struggle to get into the lobby only to find 2 tellers. One was open and one was working on night deposit bags and wouldn't help us. The one that was open had a customer with a lengthy transaction and the one doing night drop bags ignored us. Being an ex banker I know that you lock up night drop bags and do them during down times not when you have an 85 year old customer waiting. She stood there until 9:20 waiting for the teller and the 2nd teller ignored her and the other customers in line the whole time. The manager sat on his butt in his office and watched the whole thing and never moved to help. I made it very clear to him and everyone else in the bank what I thought of them and the way they treated customers.

I've been a customer with BoA since high school. They've been my checking and savings account for years. Their customer service is abysmal and should be avoided at all cost. They don't care at all about their customers and account holders. It takes forever to find someone who can "help" you - and I'll use that term loosely. I've had to request address changes just to put my mailstop on my accounts many times because they keep changing it back. They then just closed my savings account with no notice at all - and nobody can seem to admit they did something wrong and help me. Nobody follows up, nobody cares. Do not use!

I am a wealth management customer. many times I have difficulty time getting to speak with customer services persons. I have to answer many questions. they required many informations and sometime I did not have all the information. I told the computer that I would like to speak with a representative. but had hard getting to one ! I own BAC stocks and I like the cost control.but it seems the management placed cutting costs over customer services, especially with the wealth management clients....there are many wealth management firms would like to have my account. without improvement, I might make a switch. First of all, my complaint is not the online service. But I have no other title more appropiate that indicate in the mail. My first language is not English. So I apologize for my English handwriting. I would like to say that today I felt outraged when I was served by the customer service. Since I opened my bank account I have not stopped to have drawbacks. I come from Cuba, I'm Hispanic. I received about 4 cards in less than two years to verify my status in the United States. All information that required me on the bank I have sent. And yet today I received another letter in which they ask for more information. When I call to customer service, I waited 30 minutes on hold and the call finally fell. After calling back, the person who answered almost called me ***. She tried to give me an absurd explanation about the roles that I'm still getting. I would like to say I am a legal person in this country. My father is a US citizen, his entire family has lived here ever since. Sometimes I feel that being Hispanic discriminate me and today I felt humiliated.Never anyone in my family had requested verify such information. My husband and friends are Cubans like me, none of them has received many letters of verification. I'm feeling you are violating my privacy. I came to live in a free and democratic country, I felt that I was not treated me fairly. I have other bank accounts and no other bank has asked me much information. The person who checked me on the phone today humbled me, she treated me like I was uneducated. She put me on hold and while I talked to my husband interrupted my conversation and begins to argue with me. Her information and her explanation did not resolve my doubts.But they increased my fears to feel I'm being insulted. I had never been heard in worst way before in my life . That was the worst customer service I've had in two years that I live in America.I asked for another phone number so I could call and file a complaint and she deceived me. She gave me the phone number of another department. The young man who answered my call in that department was more cordial. He explained to me that I did not have any problems in my account. He did not take note of my complaint. He just told me that I had no problems. All this leaves me more doubts now. Why I received a letter requesting more information?The departments of Bank of America do not share information? Why question me in a department and request information while another tells me that everything is fine? Why not take note of complaints from a customer to whom provided with a dreadful service? Bank of America today really disappoint me. I have lost the confidence in this institution.

Go to another bank. This is what Americans do. If a bank displeases us, we go to another bank.
