Bank of America lost big money in the economic downturn and are now back to previous profitability.
I am very unhappy with the closure of many local branches but even more unhappy that they have funelled their customers to remaining branches that are more like DMV offices with long lines.
To add insult to their customers, they have reduced the tellers and put machines in their place with audio visual automatons that no one can understand. The lines for these machines is the same as live tellers bu now everyone can hear the private discussions because of poor sound quality and the awful acoustics of the bank halls.
Bank of America could lose their former customers very soon. They will give away savings and investment clients in the near future.
